Metal is lightweight and thin. It’s fine for the price but not to the quality even of Case toothpicks

I have always wanted a Spanish Navaja after purchasing a Cold Steel Espada. Obviously these are very different animals, but I really like this knife! The build quality is what I would expect the common man would carry when these were popular. The fit and finish is a little rough, but it does not take away from the quality and value of this blade. It can easily handle any day to day knife chore. It arrived sharp and after stropping it, its hair popping sharp. The blade lock up is solid and there is no side to side play. If you’re a knife collector, this is definitely something you want in your collection. I will definitely buy from this seller again and hope to find one with a blade length of 6 inches or larger with the horn handles. It really is a beautiful piece of knife history.
